1. Overview

RoRegion is a Chrome browser extension that allows Roblox users to browse game servers by region, view estimated ping, and join specific servers directly. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains clearly and completely what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

The short version: if you do not subscribe, we store nothing about you. No tracking, no analytics, no personal data of any kind.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

For all users — subscribed or not — RoRegion does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Browsing history or activity outside of Roblox
• Which servers you browse or join
• Your IP address or device identifiers
• Cookies or tracking pixels of any kind
• Analytics or usage data

3. Data Collected for Subscribers Only

If you choose to purchase a RoRegion membership subscription, the following data is stored on our servers solely for the purpose of managing your subscription:

• Your Roblox User ID — a numeric identifier assigned to your Roblox account. This is used to look up and verify your subscription status.
• Subscription tier — which plan you are on (Basic, Regular, or Unlimited).
• Subscription start date — the date your current plan began.
• Renewal status — whether your subscription is set to auto-renew.
• Private server details — the Roblox private server ID, universe ID, and owner ID associated with your subscription. These are Roblox platform identifiers, not personal data, and are used solely to verify that your subscription private server remains active.
• Subscription price — the Robux amount associated with your plan, used for renewal verification.

This data is stored locally on your device via Chrome's extension storage and on the RoRegion API server (api.roregion.com). It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than verifying and managing your subscription.

4. Local Extension Storage

The extension stores a small number of non-personal preference values locally on your device using Chrome's built-in extension storage. These include:

• Whether the extension is enabled or disabled
• UI state preferences (e.g., whether certain onboarding prompts have been dismissed)

These values never leave your device and are not transmitted anywhere.

5. Roblox API Usage

To function, RoRegion reads publicly available server list data from Roblox's own APIs on your behalf while you are logged into Roblox. This is the same data visible on any Roblox game page. RoRegion does not store this data — it is fetched live and displayed temporarily within the extension interface.

RoRegion also reads your Roblox locale setting to display the interface in your language, and reads your Roblox theme setting to match the visual style. Neither of these is stored or transmitted.

6. Data Retention

Subscription data is retained on our servers for as long as your subscription is active. When your subscription ends or is cancelled, your data may be updated to reflect a free-tier status. You may contact us to request full deletion of your data at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

RoRegion is an extension for use on Roblox, a platform used by people of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information. The only data collected (Roblox User ID and subscription details) is handled purely for subscription verification and does not constitute personal information under applicable privacy laws.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on the Chrome Web Store listing and, where applicable, within the extension itself. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
